1. General Return Policy

Return Eligibility

  • Returns are accepted within 30 days of the original purchase date unless otherwise stated.
  • All approved returns are subject to a 25% restocking fee.
  • Products must be returned new, unused, and in original packaging, including all paperwork, parts, and accessories.
  • A Return Authorization Number (RMA) is required prior to returning any item.
  • Returns sent without authorization will be refused.

Non-Returnable Items

  • Custom, made-to-order, or special-order products are non-refundable and non-returnable.

Final Sale Items

Certain products are designated as Final Sale and are not eligible for return, refund, or exchange under any circumstances, except in the case of verified damage or defect upon delivery.

Final Sale items include, but are not limited to:

Custom, made-to-order, or special-order products
Select commercial equipment and large freight shipments
Manufacturer-designated non-returnable items

Final Sale status may be communicated on the product page, during checkout, or at the time of order confirmation.

Return Process

  • Contact our customer service team to request a Return Authorization (RMA).
  • Once approved, return instructions and the authorized return address will be provided.
  • Customers are responsible for all return shipping and freight costs unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Refunds

  • Original shipping, freight, and handling charges are non-refundable.

Damaged or Defective Products

  • If your order arrives damaged or defective, contact us within 24 hours of delivery for visible damage, or within 5 days for concealed damage.
  • We will provide instructions for inspection, replacement, or claim filing where applicable.

2. Summit Appliance – Specific Return & Cancellation Policy

Summit Appliance products are subject to manufacturer-specific policies and restrictions that differ from standard merchandise.

All Summit Appliance returns are subject to manufacturer approval.

Buyer’s Remorse

Summit Appliance does not allow buyer’s remorse returns. Customers are responsible for confirming specifications, dimensions, application, and options prior to ordering.

Non-Returnable Summit Products

The following Summit Appliance items are not eligible for return under any circumstances:

  • Made-to-order or customized units, including factory-installed thermometers, alarms, data loggers, digital thermostats, locks, keypads, or lock boxes
  • Panel-ready models (suffixes IF, FR, PNR)
  • ADA models (suffix ADA or prefix AL)
  • Units with factory-installed icemakers
  • Glass door models with added stainless handles (suffixes TB, HH, HV, SH)
  • Solid door models with wrapped stainless or diamond-plate doors and signature handles (suffixes KS, SSTB, SSHV, SSHH, DPL)
  • Glass door models with factory door tints (options T1, T1S/F, T2/F, T3/F, T4/F)
  • Any model with stainless steel cabinet wrap (suffix CSS)

Eligible Summit Returns

  • Returns apply only to eligible, non-custom stock merchandise.
  • A Return Authorization (RA) must be issued prior to any return attempt.
  • Items must be factory-sealed, unopened, and undamaged.
  • Opened or installed units will not be accepted.
  • Digital photographs (typically 6 images showing all sides) may be required for approval.
  • No factory-sealed Summit item may be returned after 30 days from the original ship date.

Summit Restocking & Freight Charges

  • Approved Summit returns are subject to a 25% restocking fee per item.
  • Larger or bulk orders may incur higher restocking fees.
  • Customers are responsible for all return freight arrangements and costs.
  • Any outbound freight costs originally included or subsidized will be deducted from the refund.

3. Freight Damage Claims

Shipments Using Manufacturer-Arranged Carriers

  • Failure to properly document or report damage within the stated timeframes may result in denial of claims or replacement.
  • Refuse delivery of visibly damaged units at the time of delivery.
  • Note damage clearly on the delivery receipt and obtain driver acknowledgment.
  • Concealed damage must be reported within 5 days of delivery.

Shipments Using Customer-Selected or Third-Party Carriers

  • Products shipped using customer-arranged carriers are not eligible for return.
  • Damage claims must be filed directly with the carrier.
  • Unauthorized returns will not receive credit.

4. Questions & Support

Hegemon Supply reserves the sole right to determine return eligibility, approve or deny return requests, and interpret the terms of this policy. This policy may be updated or modified at any time without prior notice.
