Summit ADA404REFAL 20″ Wide Built-In / ADA Healthcare Refrigerator – +2 °C to +8 °C Range

Accucold offers a quality selection of 20" wide built-in undercounter all-refrigerators designed for installation under lower ADA compliant counters and for the storage of vaccines and medical supplies.

The ADA404REFAL is sized at 32" high to fit under lower counters complying with ADA guidelines for accessibility. The fully finished textured white cabinet allows freestanding use, while the front-breathing system means this unit can be built-in with minimum clearance. The door is 3" thick for efficient insulation, with a top-mounted lock for added security and convenient access. A digital thermostat, located in the kickplate, makes for easy temperature management with a readout in Fahrenheit or Celsius. This unit comes with a hospital grade cord with a green dot plug for added safety in high-traffic areas. Powerful magnetic gaskets ensure a tight seal. This model comes with a right-hand door swing. (Note: For a left-hand door swing, please select option 'LHD' when ordering. The door is not user reversible.)

The ADA404REFAL is designed to operate between +2°C and +8°C as recommended for the storage of vaccines, select pharmaceuticals, and other medical supplies. For optimum temperature management, a pre-installed thermometer is included that provides an external readout of the current and high/low temperatures to the nearest tenth of a degree (as recommended by the CDC, VFC and VFA). The display is switchable between Celsius or Fahrenheit at the touch of a button. The thermometer includes an audible alarm to warn users if the interior has gone out of the programmed temperature range. The buffered temperature probe is encased in a glycol-filed bottle and secured on the left wall of the interior cabinet to best simulate the temperature of other stored contents, resulting in the utmost accuracy for temperature reporting. Inside, an LED light located on the front left side of the unit attractively illuminates the interior when the door opens. Automatic defrost operation ensures minimal user maintenance, with an internal fan to help promote even cooling throughout the 3.32 cu. ft. interior. Adjustable wire shelves allow you to rearrange the interior to best suit your storage needs. As recommended by the CDC, this unit has a flat door liner to ensure users don't store sensitive contents on the door. The open door alarm sounds if the door is ajar beyond one minute for added peace-of-mind but can be disabled depending on your needs. 

Sized at just under 20" wide, the ADA404REAL is the ideal storage solution for doctors' offices, clinics, and similar facilities.

NOTE: Accucold refrigerators are purpose-built to the support meeting the current CDC (Centers for Disease Control) guidelines for the storage of vaccines. At this time, Accucold refrigerators have not been evaluated to the new NSF 456 standard. As referenced in the current Vaccine Storage and Handling Toolkit, these units incorporate microprocessor controls and forced air circulation for stable operation between 2 and 8ºC. For additional temperature assurance, the CDC recommends a calibrated digital data logger (DDL), which can be added with the factory-installed option DL2B or addition of the DL2BKit accessory.
