Sized with a 24" footprint, model CT66BK2SSRS is an ENERGY STAR certified refrigerator-freezer designed for recessed installation or freestanding use in residential kitchens. The user-reversible stainless steel door offers an elegant look for any kitchen, with a special coating that makes it easy to wipe off the surface for a fingerprint-resistant front. The stainless steel handle is side mounted for an easy grip and attractive look. This unit has a jet black exterior cabinet and runs quietly at less than 33 dB. Adjustable legs allow you to set the height between 33 1/2" and 34 1/2" for the perfect fit. We include a black steel leg shield for optional use if you find there is too much space between the front and floor when the unit is set at its taller height.
Inside, the CT66BK2SSRS offers 5 cu.ft. of storage, a higher capacity than virtually any refrigerator-freezer in this size class. It features a black interior liner and black trimmed adjustable glass shelves for spill-proof storage. We also include a removable scalloped steel rack ideal for holding bottles in a horizontal position. A large clear crisper makes it easy to store produce at its best and three clear door racks let you keep condiments in easy reach. A light automatically illuminates the interior when the door is open.
Summit's European lineup features classic mechanical controls. The dial thermostat ensures an intuitive, trouble-free performance without any internal boards or chips. The advanced dual evaporator system allows separated cooling of the fresh and frozen food sections. The refrigerated compartment utilizes low maintenance automatic defrost, while the interior freezer compartment is manual defrost to achieve lower storage temperatures ideal for ice cream and other frozen food.
