Summit’s 'Made in Italy' gas cooktops offer a powerful performance in a durable, safe, and stylish design.
The GCJ4SS is a four-burner gas cooktop with a 304 grade stainless steel surface for added durability. In a space-saving size of 24 inches, it is perfect for smaller kitchens, apartments, and similar space-challenged environments. Two continuous cast iron grates in an off-center design afford extra space when cooking with multiple pots and pans that can otherwise collide on tighter surfaces.
Heavy duty brass and aluminum knobs are located at the front of the unit for convenient access. The knobs require a gentle push-to-turn motion to ignite, and the thermocouple flame protection ensures the gas turns off if the flame goes out.
Featuring four gas burners manufactured by Defendi, this cooktop has a variety of cooking options for unparalleled performance. The top left and right 6000 BTU semi-rapid burners suit most cooking needs. The bottom right 10,000 BTU rapid burner is ideal for boiling water or cooking larger dishes, while the bottom-right 3,400 BTU auxiliary burner works well for precision heating and cooking.
The GCJ4SS uses electronic spark ignition and is preset for natural gas operation. A conversion kit that allows for LP gas connection is included. A standard three-pronged 115V cord is pre-installed for easy hookup.
