The Accucold LAB8R6 is a 3.08 cu.ft. ultra-low temperature chest freezer designed for laboratory, life science, pharmaceutical, and research applications requiring storage down to -86°C. Manufactured in Denmark by ELCOLD for Accucold, this unit features manual defrost operation, digital microprocessor controls, high/low temperature alarms, a power-failure alarm, and six stainless steel box racks for organized sample storage. Extra-thick insulation and dual inner lids help maintain temperature stability for biological samples, DNA/RNA materials, chemicals, vaccines, and other temperature-sensitive materials.
