Summit's innovative MRF series offers combination refrigerator-microwaves with one-plug operation, ideal for hotels and other settings looking to maximize user convenience.
Model MRF43BA combines a fully featured microwave(SM903BSA1) with our compact refrigerator-freezer (FF43BADA). The complete unit is sized at just 19" wide for an easy fit. The refrigerator-freezer's reversible door makes it easy to adjust to any setting. The microwave includes a built-in allocator, allowing you to plug the fridge directly into the microwave. The allocator will temporarily disable the power of the refrigerator while the microwave is in use, resuming after the cooking cycle is complete in order to protect against power surges.
The FF43BADA is a freestanding refrigerator that includes a large refrigerator section and an interior ice compartment. It also includes a timer accessory that converts the unit into a low-maintenance auto-defrost refrigerator-freezer. The timer allows you to program an "off" period to power off the unit and restore power after the set time. This helps to prevent ice buildup in the freezer compartment. We recommend setting the timer for 2 to 3 hours in the middle of the night. Alternatively, the refrigerator can be used without the timer and will function as a standard manual defrost refrigerator-freezer.
The SM903BSA1 microwave has a jet-black finish and an easy-grab handle in brushed stainless steel. Two USB ports are included to charge mobile devices. The microwave has a door window and digital touchpad control panel with one-touch settings for everyday meals, including frozen food, potatoes, pizza, and popcorn. The display and end-of-cycle alerts can be turned off and muted as needed. We include two brackets that let you set the microwave on top of the refrigerator and gently secure it with the included adhesive.
With its slim-fitting footprint and low-maintenance design, the MRF43BA is the ideal solution for dorm rooms, hotel spaces, offices, and other settings with limited space.
